Common questions

I uploaded my files but the reconciliation shows unexpected results
First, check that your Tally Inwards Register export is in the correct format (standard Tally GSTR-2A reconciliation export). Then verify that your GSTR-2B download is the Excel format from the GST portal (not JSON). If the issue persists, submit a ticket below with the period and company name.
I did not receive my login email / magic link
Check your spam or junk folder — magic link emails come from noreply@gstsettle.com. The link is valid for 24 hours. If you still cannot find it, try the login page again to request a new link.
I invited a user but they cannot see the companies I assigned
For Company Accountant users, make sure "Company Login Access" is enabled on that company (Edit Company → toggle on). For Team Members, check the Admin Panel → Assign Companies to confirm the company is checked for that user.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Billing inside the app and click "Cancel Subscription". Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I export my reconciliation data?
Yes. From any Month View, click the download icon to export a formatted Excel reconciliation report for that period.
My GSTIN is showing as invalid
CAFirmHQ validates GSTINs against the standard 15-character format. Check for spaces, incorrect state codes, or typos. If your GSTIN is valid but still rejected, please submit a ticket.
